Pro Bono Analytics
This past weekend I was at a Yankees game with our Corporate Counsel John Louizos. Other than sun, beer, and hotdogs, I was also thinking about statistics and the book Money Ball.

I told John that I was curious about how analytics could be applied in other cases, not just fortune 500 clients. It occurred to me that there are probably several smaller businesses and non-profits that have interesting data but can never afford to hire a consultancy like Anderson Analytics. John pointed out that most lawyers typically handle a few pro bono cases every year.
I’m curious if any other market research consultancies out there have worked on any interesting pro-bono cases? What if Analytics were free, or less expensive, in which other interesting and useful ways might it be applied?
I’ve decided to give it a shot. Within the next twelve months, I’m going to select one small company to help analytically (completely free of charge). If you think you may have some interesting data available, but simply can’t afford to hire a consulting company, please contact me. It’s not necessary to be a Not-For-Profit.
