While we are getting more and more engaged in digital and social media marketing there’s often some mix in campaigns. It often strikes me as weird whenever I see something that I would expect to be handled online being marketed through more traditional channels. From no on I’m going to try to keep my eyes open for these examples.
May help explain why @aplusk has so many followers. Apparently his campaign isn’t limited to online.

Nothing weird about it all. Frankly, marketers are not yet doing this enough. We do not live in a ‘digital world,’ nor in a ‘traditional world.’ We live in - a - world. We are not digital consumers, we are consumers, who use some digital.
The myth working here (on your intitial reaction) is that newly minted digital experts (but not experts in other things) have (self) promoted the idea that one (marketing) world is replacing the other. Rather, they will always morph together.
