Top-5 Favorite Books Among US College Students

December 19th, 2010 · 1 Comment

I’m continuing the series today that I started on Saturday showing some of the trends from our ‘GenX2Z’ tracking among US college students. Yesterday I listed top musical artists, today I have results to the question “What’s a really good book you recently read?”. First, results now vs. this time last year.

The Harry Potter series has been neck in neck with the Twilight series for the last couple of years. There are some differences among the genders.

Surprisingly, Stieg Larsson’s Millennium Trilogy which started in Sweden and is now a world wide phenomena, is not yet as popular among the guys as the girls.

The complete list of books of course is fairly extensive. A few honorable mentions which would have made a Top-10 List are: The Road by Cormack McCarthy, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Dear John by Nicholas Sparks, and of course Angels & Demons by Dan Brown.

I’ll probably post top movies or video games next.
